Tiffany Haddish wanted to "create generational wealth" after landing her first few earnings in Hollywood.

She revealed that she bought a house after starring in "The Carmichael Show."

The comedian claimed that some of her friends were unhappy with her decision.

Haddish said she lived on $500 a month on used the rest of her earnings to pay off half of the mortgage.

She used her income from "Girl's Trip" to pay off the mortgage entirely.

Haddish said she was still "afraid of being poor again."

In 2021, Haddish's "Black Mitzvah" won a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album.

Haddish has starred in films like Night School," "Angry Birds Movie 2" and "On The Count Of Three."

The comedian admitted that she enjoys going surfing.
