T.J. Holmes was Amy Robach’s confidante about her marital troubles with Andrew Shue before their affair began.

Shue was reportedly unsupportive of Robach in certain activities, while Holmes was always there.

Robach and Holmes’ romance was made public in November 2022.

Robach and Holmes were still with their spouses at the time.

Shortly after the scandal, ABC network suspended then fired the couple from their co-host positions.

Marilee Fiebig, Holmes’ ex-wife and Shue didn’t take the affair well, especially with how messy and public it’s been.

Shue reportedly wants nothing to do with the pair and hasn’t spoken about the affair yet.

Fiebig on the other hand is upset by Holmes’ “lack of discretion” in showing off his affection for Robach.

Per Us Weekly, friends of Robach and Holmes think they’ll likely get engaged soon because they “have a strong bond.”
