Tessa Thompson has proven herself to be a bundle of talent, immersing each role with humor, real emotions, and great acting chops.

She bagged the part of the openly bisexual character Valkyrie in "Thor: Ragnarok, making her the first LGBTQ superhero in a Marvel movie.

Thompson shared that it has been a tremendous honor to empower her LGBTQ fans to come out.

She also spoke about the on-screen representation, noting the power of inclusion and diversity.

Thompson felt extremely lucky to be in spaces where she could be true to herself in Hollywood.

Thompson came out as bisexual in a 2018 Porter interview after fans speculated about her rumored relationship with singer Janelle Monae.

She also shared that queer characters should be allowed to exist in their humanity.

Thompson admitted that there wasn’t enough room to explore her character, Valkyrie’s love life meaningfully in “Thor: Love and Thunder.”
