The rapper's security team has been indicted in New York on charges of robbery and impersonating a police officer.

Tekashi's team allegedly used lights and sirens to track down a fan who took video of the rainbow rapper and took away the person’s cell phone.

Prosecutors charged FIVE members of Tekashi's private security team with Robbery in the First Degree, Robbery in the Second Degree, and Criminal Impersonation in the First Degree.

Plus, a former NYPD detective is also charged for allegedly “falsely claiming to NYPD officers and in a 911 call that the victim was threatening them with a firearm.”
