Taylor Swift shakes off lawsuit for "Shake It Off" just in time for her birthday.

The singer was charged with plagiarism by Nate Butler and Sean 'Sep' Hall in 2017.

The duo claimed Swift lifted a line from the song they wrote for 3LW "Playas Gon'Play."

Swift said she's never heard of the song before nor the group that released it.

Swift’s request to dismiss the case was dismissed by Judge Fitzgerald last year.

In a positive turn of events, Fitzgerald dismissed the lawsuit on Monday, December 12th.

The songwriters, Butler and Hall, reportedly agreed to dismiss the case with prejudice.

They won’t be able to refile the case ever again.

Swift got nominated for a Golden Globe ward for her song, “Carolina” from the film “Where The Crawdads Sing.”
