After facing some health setbacks, Taron Egerton has left West End Play 'Cock’ for personal reasons.

The actor portrayed the role of M, a gay character in a long-term relationship with his boyfriend John (Jonathan Bailey)

Egerton fainted in the play's first outing and subsequently tested positive for the coronavirus.

Harper-Jackson portrayed the role of M in the absence of Egerton and will continue playing the part for the rest of the show's run.

The play also features "His Dark Materials" star Jade Anouka and "Quadrophenia" actor Phil Daniels.

Marianne Elliott and Jonathan Bailey praised Harper-Jackson for standing in for Egerton.
