On September 6, Stephen King released his new book, “Fairy Tale.”

On September 15, Deadline announced it’s going to be turned into a movie!

Paul Greengrass has already been signed on to adapt, direct, and produce the project.

No studio has been attached to the project yet but bidding wars are expected to be contentious.

“Needless to say, I’m a Paul Greengrass fan,” King said in a statement.

He said that Greengrass is a “wonderful choice for this film.”

Similarly, Greengrass praised “Fairy Tale” as a “work of genius.”

He called it “a classic adventure story and also a disturbing contemporary allegory.”

No release date for the film has yet to be announced.
