MCU alumni Jacob Batalon is set to star as Reginald Baskin in the vampire thriller "Reginald The Vampire."

In an interview with Variety, Batalon said that the upcoming film would take a different story angle, unlike other vampire slashers.

Batalon stated that the film would relate to several societal viewpoints.

'Reginald The Vampire" was inspired by Johnny B. Truant's Fat Vampire novels.

Batalon also stars as a co-executive producer in the upcoming comedy series.

The actor claimed that landing the role came out of the blues.

After reading the script for Reginald The Vampire," Batalon solidified his decision to star in the series.

Batalon revealed that starring alongside Tobey Maguire And Andrew Garfield in "Spider-Man: No Way Home" was an amazing experience.

The actor also appreciated the opportunity to share the set with veteran actors Willem Dafoe, Jamie Foxx, and Alfred Molina.
