Tom Holland, star of the Spider-Man franchise, recently shared updates regarding the possible fourth installment of the series.

While talks about “Spider-Man 4” were in progress, they have currently halted due to the ongoing writer’s strike.

Holland emphasized the team's decision to pause meetings in solidarity with the writers.

Producer Amy Pascal confirmed their intention to make another movie, but noted that everything depends on the resolution of the writer's strike.

The writer's strike has significantly affected the entertainment industry, with many shows, including "Yellowjackets" and "Cobra Kai," having paused production.

The previous Spider-Man film ended with Peter Parker's identity revealed, causing significant upheaval in his life and those of his friends.

Despite the cliffhanger ending, details about the next step for the franchise remain scarce due to the paused meetings.

Holland, in the meantime, is appearing in a new series called “The Crowded Room” alongside Amanda Seyfried, Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane, and Christopher Abbott.

In the series, Holland plays a character suspected of hiding a dark secret by his therapist, portrayed by Seyfried.

Speaking about his role in "The Crowded Room," Holland expressed his enjoyment of the more involved process, from development to casting and production.
