Elon Musk is all for free speech on Twitter.

Apparently, it seems the same doesn’t hold true for his company.

Several employees banded together to write an open letter to SpaceX execs.

They asked SpaceX execs to “condemn Elon’s harmful Twitter behavior.”

However, SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell turned around and fired them instead.

Shotwell sent out an email to employees that was published in The Verge.

Shotwell said that SpaceX “terminated a number of employees involved.”

Shotwell wrote, “We have too much critical work to accomplish.”

She added that there is “no need for this kind of overreaching activism.”
