Matt Amodio is a former “Jeopardy!” contestant.

He won 38 games straight – the second-longest running streak in “Jeopardy!” history.

He always said he wanted to beat Ken Jenning’s total by one dollar.

Unfortunately, he fell far short of that goal.

Matt Amodio won $1,518,601 dollars over 38 games.

Jennings won $2,520,700 after 74 straight wins in 2004.

That’s not Amodio’s biggest regret, however.

Amodio’s biggest regret is that he never got to meet Jennings in person.

His win streak ended while Mayim Bialik was still hosting the show.
