Cancel Culture is one of the most popular forms of scrutiny involving celebrities and famous personalities in today’s world. It is the act of calling out a personality for a wrong he or she might have done.

Sharon Stone started off her career with admirable and exciting roles, and that was when she got to know James Franco.

Franco, who is also an incredible actor, kicked off his career with relatively small roles, and ranked higher from there. He and Stone once featured in his project titled “The Disaster Artist”

When it comes to Cancel Culture, stone has a slightly different approach to it. According to her, when a wrong has been done to someone, he or she should be able to sort it out amicably

Stone does not believe that cutting someone off completely for a wrong he or she may or may not have done is not the best approach to settling differences. Stone first spoke against cancel culture when Franco was accused of a sexual crime.

Five women alleged that Franco tricked them into having sexual interactions with him because he knew they were trying to further their acting careers.

During a podcast interview with Marc Maron, Stone commented on the issue saying that she has worked closely with Franco before, and to an extent, knows how professional he is. She also said the allegations were quite shocking and found it odd that in a jiffy Franco could be turned into a horrible person.

Stone has faced her fair share of sexual harassment in the industry, especially from prominent people, but instead of reveal it to the world, she decided to deal with it in her own way.

Stone once slapped a movie director for gross misconduct while she was shooting a film, and involved her lawyer immediately.
