Shania Twain recently opened up about how she felt after being told she might never sing again.

The singer was diagnosed with Lyme disease which made even speaking difficult for the star.

She revealed that learn she might never be able to sing again was “depressing and devastating.”

The singer eventually underwent major surgery to rid her of the disease.

According to Twain, she had to stay awake and singe while being operated on.

The singer said this was the only way they could identify the problem and no “exactly what to do” to fix.

Twain is back to singing and recently released her album, “Queen of Me.”

She said the album was her way of reclaiming what she lost.

Twain that she could still quit singing in the future.
