Shane Dawson has officially made his return to YouTube.

The shamed YouTuber is back to discuss being canceled, his new life and what he has in store for fans.

Shane was canceled in 2020 after content resurfaced that included topics such as blackface, pedophilic comments and jokes of bestiality.

Shane was one of many YouTubers who were disgraced between 2019 and 2020.

Shane’s latest video titled, “The Haunting of Shane Dawson,” is the first time in over a year since he last posted. His last video was titled, “Taking Accountability,” in which he took responsibility for past disgraceful behavior online.

Shane admitted he learned a lot during his cancelation, and he doesn’t care if people still hate him.

“If you hate me, I feel better that way, because it’s like lowering the bar,” Shane said. “Do you know what I mean? Because, I finally don’t really care about what other people think of me, except for myself, but I don’t really like me either. I’m kind of in a weird place. I’m just kidding.”

Shane admitted that he’s been in therapy throughout his cancelation which has helped him grow, learn and in turn move to Colorado.

“Currently I’m in a place where I want to be creative again. I’m tired of waiting around for some crazy idea. I feel like if I don’t start trying something, nothing’s going to happen,” he admitted of his decision to move to the Mile High state.
