Serena Williams just showed the world what the sportsman spirit, or should we say sportswoman spirit is all about.

After crashing out of Wimbledon by losing to Harmony Tan, Serena Williams remains positive and has an uplifting message for all on Instagram.

The 40-year-old champion is not easy to bring down and has high hopes for the future, although it's not sure whether her future will include Wimbledon, or not...

After an injury forced her out of Wimbledon the last time, the 23-time major winner crashed out of Wimbledon's SW19 by losing to Harmony Tan in a rather gripping match.

While Williams struggled in the first set, she rallied later, for an overall loss of 7-5 1-6 7-6 (10-7).

She took the loss in her stride and took to Instagram to say that it was an insane and intense match.

Williams also wrote, “Not the result I came for, but my goodness I enjoyed that. I hope you did as well. Onward and up.”

While the seven-time Wimbledon champion is not sure if she will return, she is sure that she will not leave tennis on a loss.

Her next destination is likely to be the US Open, chasing Grand Slam titles and doing it the Serena Williams way.
