The reviews for the fifth entry into the “Scream” franchise are finally in!
On Rotten Tomatoes, critics gave the film a 76% approval rating.
The audience score currently stands at 86% after the film’s release.
Some reviews were pretty positive.
One reviewer said “easily the most fun the series has been since Scream 2.”
Another said, “Way fiercer and funnier than a fourth sequel has any right to be.”
However, one harsh review said, “it’s called ‘Scream,’ it borders more on shrill.”
Another critic called the film “less haunting than hectic.”
Fans will just have to head to theaters and decide for themselves!
