Sarah Jessica Parker has exciting information about the highly anticipated “Sex and the City” reboot.
Production on the reboot titled “And Just Like That…” began in July and daily filming continues.
HBO Max’s official YouTube channel released a teaser trailer chalk full of behind-the-scenes footage and SJP announcing when fans can expect the series to drop on the streaming platform.
In the YouTube video she says, “It’s Sarah Jessica. Hello from New York City, Fifth Avenue. Shooting as we speak the next chapter of ‘Sex and the City,’ or as we like to call it ‘And Just Like That…’ with some beloved friends.”
The video includes a montage of BTS footage featuring Cynthia Nixon as ‘Miranda Hobbes’ and Kristin Davis as Charlotte York.
“In the meantime, ‘And Just Like That’ will premiere in December on HBO Max,” SJP says signing off with a ‘Ciao’ and an air kiss.
Production on the reboot has faced a few trials and tribulations. Kim Cattrall will not be reprising her role as ‘Samantha Jones.’ SJP’s best friend on and off screen, Willie Garson aka Stanford Blatch, recently passed away from cancer.
“And Just Like That…” will be released on HBO Max sometime in December.
SJP also has “Hocus Pocus 2” in the works, which will come out in Fall 2022.
