Last October, cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed on the set of the Western film “Rust.”

A gun held by actor Alec Baldwin discharged, killing her and injuring director Joel Souza.

The Hutchins family filed a wrongful death lawsuit that was settled in October.

However, it is possible that the DA will bring criminal charges against the crew.

One source told TMZ that the decision will come by the end of the month.

The timing is interesting, considering “Rust” is supposed to resume filming around that time.

Matthew Hutchins will serve as EP when the Western resumes filming.

That was one of the conditions of the wrongful death settlement.

He has also given his blessing for a documentary to be made about his late wife.
