‘Rust’ Criminal Investigation Is Still Ongoing

It has been almost a year since Halyna Hutchins was killed on the set of “Rust.”

Santa Fe officials immediately opened a criminal investigation into the incident.

However, that investigation is still ongoing.

On Oct. 5, her estate reached a settlement in their wrongful death lawsuit.

The film will resume filming in January 2023 with the original cast.
