On Tuesday, June 21, Rob Gronkowski retired from the NFL.

Gronk only played 12 games last season.

However, he still managed to catch 55 passes for 802 yards and six touchdowns

It was statistically his best season since 2017.

It looks like Gronk wants to go out on a high note, as he announced the news on Instagram.

The four-time Super Bowl champ thanked fans, teammates, and coaches for years of support.

Gronk was a five-time Pro Bowl selection and a four-time First Team All-Pro selection.

He and Tom Brady led the Bucs to their first Super Bowl win in 2021.

Gronk says he feels good retiring, knowing he “gave it everything I had.”
