Rihanna has been studying Beyoncé’s Super Bowl halftime show performances ahead of her own.

The singer revealed she's been watching footage of Beyoncé’s past performances to be inspired.

Beyoncé has performed in the game twice in the past; in 2013 and 2016.

Rihanna explained that it's been hard to come up with the choice of song to be performed on the show.

She explained that her catalog of songs from her 15-year career is hard to streamline into a 13-minute performance.

The "Diamonds" singer also pointed out that it's not been easy balancing work with motherhood and the Superbowl.

She's so focused on the game that she even forgot about her upcoming birthday and valentine's day.

Her long-time collaborator Shakira wished her well ahead of her performance.

She uploaded a photo of both of them smiling on Instagram and captioned it with a goodwill message for Rihanna.
