Bobby Flay has been with the Food Network for 27 years.
However, they recently parted ways after they didn’t give him the $100 million dollar salary he was seeking.
While filming “Iron Chef America” back in 2017, Flay quit the show during a live taping.
At the end of the show, he showed off a shirt that said, “This is my last Iron Chef battle ever.”
Network executives were baffled by the stunt.
Flay later said he regretted the move, claiming it was a poorly-received “joke.”
He confessed in a later interview that he thought it would make for “good TV.”
He complained about the demands on his time a year later, saying the filming schedule “crushes me.”
Celebrity chef Guy Fieri is now the highest paid star with an $80 million dollar salary.
