Fans are ready for a new Star Wars movie!

The last one to hit theaters was 2019’s “The Rise of Skywalker.”

Many fans felt it provided a disappointing conclusion to the nine-episode Skywalker Saga.

Since that time, the franchise has been revitalized by live-action series on Disney+.

There are several films in development, but none have been significant progress since their initial announcement.

Over the weekend, Deadline revealed that there is yet another Star Wars movie in the works.

This one is being directed by “Ms. Marvel” filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.

It is being co-written by “Lost” co-creator Damon Lindelof and other unnamed writer.

No more details about the project have been released so far.
