Gunna was arrested last month by Georgia authorities and has now opened up about his ordeal in a letter on his social media.

“2022 has been one of the best years of my life, despite this difficult situation. This year I had the whole world pushing P,” he said.

Gunna’s song “pushin P” featuring Future and Young Thug broke into the Billboard’s Top Ten following its debut earlier this year.

Gunna promised he would continue to fight for his freedom despite the overwhelming charges against him.

“I am innocent. I am being falsely accused and will never stop fighting to clear my name!" the rapper asserted.

Fans sent in messages of support for the YSL rapper.

“Gott yah body Don't Eva let them get yah mind Y'all write him and let him know that will give him straight like ever be4,” one follower said.

Gunna, alongside Young Thug and 26 others, were indicted for RICO charges.

The court denied bail for Gunna, setting his trial date for January 2023.
