However, despite having a prolific acting resume, she opened up about a career suicide decision that still haunts her till date.

The actress was offered on a platter of gold, a role in “X-Men.” She was asked to play the character, Rogue, but decided to turn down the offer.

Cook first acted at age 15, and luckily for her, the subsequent opportunities that came after only skyrocketed her career in the industry.

In 2000, she had the chance to up her game more and feature in the X-Men franchise, but she passed up the opportunity.

She mentioned that at the time, she was listening to more people than she did herself, and that was what led to her decision.

Despite Cook’s popularity in the industry, none of the movies she acted in after 2000 were as big as X-Men, and one of her co-stars from “She’s All That,” Anna Pacquin, found more fame with the franchise.
