If you didn’t plan on crying today, well, get your tissues ready.

Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral procession to Windsor Castle took place on Monday, September 19.

Thousands of devoted fans showed up to pay their final respects and bid farewell to their Queen who reigned for over 70 years.

The Royal Family including King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William, Catherine “Kate” Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were all in attendance at the state funeral on Monday.

In addition to Her Majesty’s immediate family were her beloved corgis, Sandy and Muick.

The late monarch owned more than 30 corgis during her reign and was known for her love of the breed.

The Queen’s deep love for corgis began when she was gifted a corgi puppy, Susan, on her 18th birthday.

Sandy and Muick waited patiently outside of Windsor Castle for their late owner’s coffin to arrive.

The corgis were gifted to Queen Elizabeth II by her son, Prince Andrew.
