Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed Congress on Wednesday.

He asked Congress to issue a no-fly zone over Ukraine.

Many lawmakers have expressed concern that a no-fly zone could lead to World War III.

Zelenskyy requested additional aircraft from the U.S. as an alternative.

He compared what Ukraine is facing now to America after Pearl Harbor or 9/11.

He addressed Joe Biden as “the leader of the nation.”

“I wish you to be the leader of the world,” he added.

He concluded, “Being the leader of the world means to be the leader of peace.”

President Zelenskyy got a standing ovation at the end of his speech.
