President Joe Biden stayed true to his word and visited the state of Kentucky on Wednesday.

His first stop was to visit the town of Mayfield, which was among the hardest hit.

Mayfield is also home to the “flattened” candle factory, which has been making headlines.

On Saturday morning, Beshear said that at least 110 workers were believed to be inside the building.

By Sunday, only about 40 of those 110 were thought to have been rescued.

CEO Tony Propes revealed on Monday that number was actually much lower and that only 8 workers had died.

Biden visited the town and said he was impressed by the way “you all come together.”

He told Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, “Don’t hesitate to ask for anything.”

Biden previously signed a federal emergency disaster declaration for Kentucky over the weekend.
