President Joe Biden just signed a federal emergency disaster declaration for Kentucky.

The state is one of the hardest hit after last night’s devastating tornado.

Over 20 tornados swept across six states from Friday night into early Saturday morning.

One of the hardest hit areas was a candle factory that contained over 110 workers.

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear said that it may be “the largest loss of life in any tornado event.”

Biden assured the public that he was staying updated with developments as they occurred.

He said his heart went out to victims, and mentioned one county executive killed in Kentucky.

He also answered questions about the possibility of the storm’s intensity being caused by climate change.

He said that he has directed the EPA and other organizations to look into it.
