Police Have Not Released Identity Of Texas Synagogue Suspect

The hostage situation in Texas came to an end late Saturday night.

The hostage situation occurred at the Congregation Beth Israel Synagogue.

It started just after 10:30 AM and ended just before 9:30 PM, local time.

One hostage was released from the synagogue shortly after 5 PM local time.

The other three hostages were rescued safely and were uninjured.

The suspect is deceased and his identity has not been disclosed.

Initial reports stated that it was the brother of convicted Aafi Siddiqui.
