Rihanna recently stepped out for dinner in a full-length fur coat, which quickly caught the attention of PETA.

The animal rights organization sent a letter to the singer, begging her to wear faux fur clothing instead.

In the letter, Senior VP, Lisa Longer pleaded with Rihanna to consider the families of the animals killed for their fur.

PETA also offered to collect and distribute the singer’s fur pieces to the survivors of the Turkey and Syria earthquakes.

According to the organization, the people of Turkey and Syria are allowed to wear the real fur to help keep warm.

Rihanna previously won a PETA award for the Fenty clothing collection she made entirely from faux leather.

At the time, PETA’s VP released a statement applauding Rihanna for creating the collection without hurting animals.

The “Umbrella” singer also recently spoke about her upcoming ninth album, saying she’ll likely release it this year.

When Rihanna finally drops the project, it will be her first studio album since she released “Anti” in 2016.
