Season 3 of Netflix’s hit crime show, “You,” drops on Friday, October 15.

Penn Badgley will reprise his role as the smoldering but murderous Joe Goldberg.

This season sees Joe and his new wife, Love, leave Los Angeles, CA. for a Northern California suburb.

The fictitious couple also welcome a baby boy named Henry into their chaotic lives.

During a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Badlgey said this season was harder to film than past seasons given that he is now a father in real-life.

Badlgey and his wife welcomed a baby boy in 2020 right around the time he began filming the upcoming season.

"The funny thing is I was curious what my new fatherhood, how that would influence my experience with Joe and acting with him," he told the outlet. "Sometimes it was almost not helpful because I was having such a light and joyful experience — still am — and Joe is so petrified."

Badgley admitted there is a bit of familiarity of being scared of fatherhood, but Joe takes it to a frightening level.

"He's so scared, and of course I can identify with the fear but he's just so morbid in his obsessive, sort of like self-preservation, primal instinct that sometimes I almost found it harder as a result, you know what I mean? It really depended on the scene,” Badgley noted.
