Paul Reubens, known as Pee-wee Herman, is suing an auction house, claiming that his memorabilia was stolen.

Reubens asserts that he had loaned these items to a supposed "Museum of Television," which he now believes does not exist.

He accuses The Comisar Collection of unlawfully selling his memorabilia without his consent.

Some of the disputed items include props, puppets, cue cards, and signed photographs from his TV show 'Pee-wee’s Playhouse.'

The collection, reportedly worth over $1 million, has been partially sold to private collectors already.

The lawsuit aims to recover any remaining items, stop further sales, and recover the value of already sold items.

The Comisar Collection argues that the items were gifted to them and denies any wrongdoing.

The auction house further claims that Reubens has been aware of their possession of the items for three decades.

James Comisar, the owner of The Comisar Collection, expressed disappointment at Reubens' actions.

Reubens' lawyers introduced the lawsuit with one of Pee-wee Herman's iconic phrases to highlight the actor's upset over the situation.
