Glastonbury 2022 witnessed Paul McCartney, 80, headline the show, becoming the oldest solo musician to ever do so.

What's even more amazing, is that fans said, he did so with the enthusiasm of a teenager.

This was also his second time performing at the festival, his earlier appearance being in 2004.

Proving that he was full of surprises, McCartney also got some big names to perform with him, one coming to him from the land of imagination.

Another cool bit of the performance came from the fact that Paul McCartney got John Lennon to perform with him, virtually of course.

He sang a duet with the late Beatles member by isolating his solo vocals, from "I've Got A Feeling" with Lennon on the big screen behind him.

The performance became all the more special when he brought Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and rock veteran, Bruce Springsteen, on stage.

The former Beatles member also played images of Johnny Depp in the background, as a clear sign of support for the embattled star.

Social media has been abuzz over his two-hour performance, although some seemed upset over Depp’s inclusion.
