Patty Jenkins will no longer be directing "Cleopatra."

After an aggressive bidding battle, Paramount finally won the rights.

Gal Gadot has been cast as the titular queen.

Jenkins notably directed Gadot in "Wonder Woman."

Jenkins dropped "Cleopatra" to focus on "Wonder Woman 3."

She will also be directing a "Star Wars" movie.

"Rogue Squadron" disappeared from the production schedule last month.

It was originally scheduled for a 2023 release.

The last "Star Wars" movie was 2019's "The Rise of Skywalker."
