Britney's long-time friend and avid supporter, Paris Hilton, was relieved when she heard the news that Jamie Spears petitioned to end his daughter's 13-year-long conservatorship.
"This is such an unexpected turn," Paris said on the September 8 episode of her podcast, "This Is Paris."

Paris continued,
Paris is referring to the alleged abuse she was subjected to while attending Provo Canyon School in Utah when she was a teenager.
She spoke of the harrowing and terrifying experience in her recently released YouTube docu-series, “This Is Paris.”
