A shooting erupted at Oxford High School on Tuesday afternoon.

The school is located roughly 40 miles north of Detroit.

A 15 year old sophomore student was taken into custody.

No motive has been given for the attack.

Authorities say the attack lasted no more than five minutes.

They received “over 100 911 calls” but responded to the scene within minutes.

The suspect fired 15-20 rounds with a semi-automatic handgun.

He did not offer any resistance while he was being arrested.

The name of the student has not been disclosed to the public.
