Oscar Isaac has embraced on-screen nudity again, this time for the sci-movie “Dune”.
Based on a 1976 novel, the movie will be made in two parts, with the first having hit theatres recently.
Isaac was recently seen nude in HBO’s limited series with Jessica Chastain who laid down the condition that whatever was shown of her, would also be shown of Isaac.
In “Dune”, Isaac plays Duke Leto Atreides, father to Chalamet’s Paul and is one of the good guys.
The movie also stars Zendaya and has been garnering a lot of public interest, and is now streaming on HBO Max.
He’s captured by the villain, Baron Harkonnen and lays splayed out on a table, much like Christ about to sacrificed.
And he’s fully naked in the shot, although Isaac clarifies he was wearing a c**k sock to protect himself and the others.
Preparation for the nudity involved an “army of fluffers” and Isaac says, the scenes was shot beautifully.
For someone who is such a crowd puller, its amazing to see how Isaac’s two nude scene are rather unsexy, a polar opposite to the man himself.
