Oprah decided to celebrate Thanksgiving day with a pre-feast.

This pre-feast included many South African staples.

One of them was Chalaka, a dish consisting of sautéed cabbage and carrots.

They also had Slow Cooked Bobotie, which includes braised beef, potato, and garlic.

They also ate grilled Peri Peri chicken and shrimp.

One interesting food was dubbed “bunny chow.”

Roast chicken was stuffed inside a toasted mini bread bowl.

Oprah mentioned that they finished off the pre-feast with malva pudding for dessert!

Malva pudding is a customary South African dessert made with apricot jam.
