One ‘Squid Game’ Actress Was ‘So Happy’ To Film Her Death Scene

Jung Ho-yeon was cast as Kang Sae-byeok AKA Player 067 in “Squid Game.”

“Maybe it's weird to say it, but while I'm shooting my death scene, I was so happy,” she recalled.

“It was the most comfortable scene I ever had,” she added.

Although fans were sad to see her go, Ho-yeon felt that she could “understand” her character.

Instead of a gruesome death, she saw Sae-byeok as letting go and finding peace.

“I know how her life was [such a] struggle and hard,” Ho-yeon explained.

Therefore, she said her death wasn’t “that bad or sad.”
