Alec Baldwin is facing several civil lawsuits.
However, at least one lawsuit has been postponed.
That lawsuit was filed by script supervisor Mamie Mitchell.
Mitchell filed a lawsuit against Baldwin and other “Rust” producers for negligence.
Baldwin has also been charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter.
A L.A. judge has paused the civil negligence lawsuit against Baldwin pending his criminal trial.
The judge also lifted any self-incrimination risk for the actor until next year.
“The trial date be continued from May 17, 2023, to February 21, 2024,” the court filing states.
However, it is still possible for the parties to reach a settlement.
