A video of a Sesame Street character has gone viral online for all the wrong reasons.

A video showed two black girls extending their hands to “Rosita” for a high-five.

However, she waves them away after just high fiving other people in the crowd.

The video was taken along a parade route at Sesame Place Philadelphia.

Many celebrities took to social media to express their outrage at the “racist” treatment of the two young girls.

On Sunday night, Sesame Place reacted to the viral issue and said they reached out to the family to make things right.

However, the family also took to social media, saying the theme park never reached out to them.

Sesame Workshop apologized for the incident but made sure to note that Sesame Place was a licensed partner.

On Monday, Sesame Place apologized again and said that they will conduct bias training.
