Queen Elizabeth II turns 96 on April 21, and in honor of her long-standing years on the throne, the tributes pour in.

Mattel has also released a Queen Elizabeth Barbie doll, in honor of her birthday and the upcoming platinum jubilee.

The Instagram account of The Royal Family has also shared a couple of very special photos, in honor of her birthday.

The caption read: “Today as The Queen turns 96, we’re sharing this photograph taken when she was 2-years-old.”

Instagram handle "The Royal Trust" has also released more special pictures of the Queen in varying stages of her life.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as in William and Kate also took to their official Instagram account to wish the Queen, with a sweet message.

The Instagram handle of the Royal Windsor Horse show also released a picture of the Queen  with two of her fell ponies, Bybeck Katie, and Bybeck Nightingale

Meanwhile, Mattel has also released the Queen Elizabeth II Barbie, seen wearing an elegant ivory gown and blue ribbon adorned with the decorations of order.

The doll will be sold in London stores at Harrods, Selfridges, and Hamleys, and will be available before the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in early June.
