On Friday, December 10, Olivia Rodrigo announced her first-ever tour, and dubbed it the “Sour Tour”.

The tickets went up on Friday morning and by afternoon, they were sold out, with the Ticketmaster website facing several outages in between.

Now many of these tickets are being resold at whopping prices. In San Francisco, tickets have reached $9,000 a pop.

New York and Chicago tour date prices have also risen to $6,000 and $5,000 apiece and this is making fans a bit mad.

The moment Rodrigo posted the Sour Tour schedules, there was an uproar by her fans because Florida was missing, and internationally, so were Brazil and Spain.

Rodrigo put up an Instagram post later, thanking her fans for the sold-out tickets and how she was so excited about it.

She also tried to console her fans saying there was always a next time for those who could not get tickets.

But her fans have lambasted her, saying the concert should have had bigger arenas and the ticket selling should have been more organized.

The 18-year-old kept mum on the backlash, choosing to concentrate on the positive aspect of it all. That her Sour Tour was a sellout.
