Niece wasn’t only socially famous for starting this trend, she was also a massive mental health advocate.

"Sadly, Niece took her own life after a long battle with mental health issues,” her family said in a statement.

She was found in her Houston, TX. home and was only 31-years-old at the time of her passing.

Law enforcement got a call from a concerned family member last month requesting a welfare check at Niece’s residence.
