Nicolas Cage may have taken on his hardest role yet.

He plays a fictionalized version of himself in “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.”

The meta-comedy was written and directed by Tom Gormican.

A fan, played by Pedro Pascal, invites Nic out to a party in Spain.

However, Nic Cage gets sucked into a real-life action-adventure.

There are plenty of nods to his films throughout the years, like “National Treasure.”

However, Nic Cage said that the on-screen persona is very far from his personality.

“He’s going me saying the F-bomb every other sentence,” Nick said. “Where’s this coming from? That’s not me.”

He also said he’s much more family-oriented than the character he portrays on-screen.
