The spotlight is now on Nick Carter. The older brother of the late Aaron Carter has been accused of some very horrible things.
On Thursday, December 8th, a woman named Shannon “Shay” Ruth and her lawyers did a Facebook Live press conference in which she accused the Backstreet Boys singer of raping her.
Not only that, she said it happened in 2001 when she was just 17 years old.
Ruth is autistic and has cerebral palsy.
To make matters even worse, Ruth claims that following the rape, Nick called her a “retarded b**ch.”
“After he raped me, I remember him calling me a ‘retarded b**ch’ and grabbing me and leaving bruises on my arm,” she claimed.
She was afraid she’d “go to jail” if she told anyone what allegedly happened between her and Carter.
She wants to “Hold Nick Carter accountable.”
Her lawyer, Mark J. Boskovich, also took the stand to reveal three other women under the pseudonym “Jane Doe” are named in a joint lawsuit filed alongside Ruth.
