New information has been released surrounding Naomi Judd’s death.

The country singer took her own life with a firearm in April.

Her daughter, Ashley, revealed that she found her mother in an interview with Good Morning America.

During the interview, she also disclosed that her mother had taken her own life with a firearm.

However, new information has now come to light in a new court filing.

According to the Associated Press, Ashley stayed with her mother while she was dying for up to 30 minutes.

The court docs say Ashley was in a state of “clinical shock, active trauma and acute distress” when speaking to law enforcement.

The family has sued the local sheriff’s office to prevent the release of information into her death.

An evidentiary hearing has been scheduled for September 12.
