The Adam Project” hit Netflix on Friday, March 11.

Ryan Reynolds has been retweeting positive reviews to his Twitter account.

However, most recent reviews have been pretty negative.

Scott Tobias of The Reveal said the movie is “what happens when you wish on a cursed monkeys paw that Hollywood would make more original movies.”

Dear Fear of the Rolling Stone hinted that the film was forgettable, mocking the film’s time-travelling premise.

Brent Simon of AV Club said the script was “overworked” and the movie was “bland.”

Bilge Eibiri of Vulture said the movie “just hangs there with little cohesion.”

Linda Marric of The Jewish Chronicle said the film is “let down by a decidedly unimaginative premise.”

However, Lindsey Bahr of the Associated Press called it “pretty satisfying popcorn fare with some genuinely affecting beats.”
