Netflix Documentary Alleges Britney Spears' Medication Increased During X Factor Filming

A number of shocking allegations were made in the documentary made by Erin Lee Carr and Jenny Eliscu.

Among those interviewed were Spears' ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, previous manager Sam Lutfi, and former assistant/friend Felicia Culotta.

The documentary claims that while working as a judge on "The X Factor" in 2012 a medical evaluation said that it put Spears under "undue pressure".

Reportedly, her former manager Larry Rudolph said that that backing of the deal would not lookg good and add to rumors of Spears being unwell.

Allegedly, her fiancé at the time Jason Trawick was then required to be on set with Spears and the medication she was on was increased as well.

"There’s different dosages on ‘non-work days’ and work days,’" Eliscu says while reading through documents.

"On one hand, Jamie and the team valued the benefits of stimulants for Britney’s performance. This had been the case for her tours and for her participation on ‘The X Factor.’ By the same token, Jamie wanted Britney not to take stimulants. This contradiction has not been resolved."

The type of medication was not mentioned, but Spears' at her June 23 conservatorship hearing said she was forced to take lithium which is often used to treat bipolar disorder.
